But what has he done for britain?

-Introduced armed police to many of the cities
-Banned all unlicensed protest within a kilometre of parliament
-Made it a criminal offence to incite religious hatred (aka criticise religion and their followers) or to give verbal support to terrorism, assassination, etc
-Is going to introduce biometric Identity Cards, and biometric passports which alone will grant access to any public services - hospitals, paying tax etc (and which will therefore eventually have to be carried by everyone)
-Is introducing new police powers: Including:
a) shoot to kill (the head) of suspected terrorists seen in public
b) Detention without any warrant or justification necessary, by the police for up to three months for suspected terrorists
c)deportation of british citizens who were born elsewhere who are "not conducive to the public good" whatever the f--- that means- It means me, actually! This will be decided on not by judges, but by the home office minister. So much for 'checks and balances' and the great british 'unwritten constitution' (sarcasm).
d)Has set up several new secret police forces, each recruiting thousands of people right now, and I might just apply actually, coz it's paying quite well, and all I have to do is trawl things like the internet looking for dissidence and possible plots against blairs government, sounds easy

so that's something to think about, isn't it? All these freedom-fighters were at reagans funeral, maybe that's where they get all their ideas!
