Is there ever a time to say: you know what? XYZ is dead, and good riddance! Our politicians, supposedly enemies in life, seem to have developed this habit of turning up at foreign statesmen's funerals. In life they say: He's a drunk. He's a danger to world peace. He killed 100,000 poor sorbs in sorbiomoldaviajikistan. And then twenty years later, this "antichrist" dies, and they all turn up to pose for the news reels. All united in bitter, hearty grief. Paying tribute! Celebrating the man who brought peace to sorbiomoldaviajikistan. (he did it by killing sorbs, but on balance, who hasn't killed a few now and then?) I say Good Riddance To Fat Old Trash. I say good riddance to Boris Thief-Wino-vich Yeltsin!

A man who they call 'greatest' Is a man who did his best for those who run things at that moment in time - It's true, isn't it? Great=Very Good at weakening the masses and strengthening central authority or the very rich

Whichever was the 'great' one. The greats are actually the ones who do the best for the nobles/rich/highest caste. The greats among the poor are those who were completely ineffective against the rich/nobles/caste system. It's ok with the rich if you want to follow their example. Mostly it involves having to die to prove a minor point.

Hmmm. Well, the New Deal was the closest we ever got to democracy in the true sense in what we now call the States. And that would be the dude in the wheelchair, not the one who opted not to shoot a bear!
